Glitch & Glow started with a simple observation: a lot of the tools we use to get through modern working life weren't really designed with every kind of brain in mind.
Work is increasingly built around productivity, efficiency, focus, organisation and time management. Planners, notebooks, desk accessories and productivity systems are everywhere, but many of them assume that everyone approaches work, concentration and organisation in roughly the same way.
They don't.
For people with neurodivergent brains, including those discovering this later in life, the tools that are supposed to make life easier sometimes don't work, and worse case, make things feel harder. And as more young neurodivergent people enter the workplace, we're seeing more people looking for ways to work with their brains rather than constantly trying to work against them.
That's where Glitch & Glow began.
We started out creating practical products designed around the realities of neurodivergent working life. Things that could help with planning, focus, organisation and getting through the day without expecting you to suddenly become a different person.
But we didn't want everything we made to be about productivity.
Because life isn't a productivity exercise.
Some days you need a planner that helps you work out what you're actually going to get done. Other days you need a mug that makes you laugh, a notebook that feels like it was made for you, or something on your desk that simply makes your space a little more enjoyable.
So Glitch & Glow has grown into a mixture of the useful, the thoughtful and the downright fun.
You'll find products designed to make work and everyday life a little easier, alongside things that exist simply because they're amusing, relatable or make us smile. Some are created specifically with neurodivergent people in mind; others are for anyone who recognises themselves in the chaos of modern life.
We're interested in products that understand that people aren't machines. That focus comes and goes. That energy isn't constant. That sometimes being organised means finding a system that works for you, rather than forcing yourself to fit somebody else's.
Ultimately, that's what we're trying to do with Glitch & Glow: make things that fit real people a little better.
Useful when they need to be. Fun when they don't.
